Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all work carried out by FastTrack Motor Worx. By booking work, paying a deposit, or allowing work to commence, you agree to the terms below.

Call-out fee: £40 • Labour: £65 per hour

1. Services

FastTrack Motor Worx provides mobile vehicle diagnostics, servicing, repairs, and mechanical work at a customer’s home, workplace, or other agreed location.

All work is subject to:

  • Vehicle condition
  • Safe access and suitable working space
  • Weather conditions
  • Availability of parts and tools

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue work if it cannot be carried out safely or practically on-site.

2. Call-Out Fee & Labour

  • Call-out fee: £40
  • Labour rate: £65 per hour

The call-out fee covers travel and initial inspection and is payable even if no work is carried out, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Labour is charged based on time spent working on the vehicle. Estimates are provided in good faith and may change if additional faults are discovered.

3. Quotes & Pricing

Quotes are based on the information provided by the customer. Final pricing may change if the fault differs from the original description, additional issues are identified, or parts availability/costs change.

No additional work will be carried out without customer approval.

4. Deposits

Deposits may be required for certain jobs, parts ordering, or booking confirmation.

Deposit Disclaimer (Non-Refundable):

All deposits are non-refundable, unless otherwise agreed in writing and signed by both parties. A signed disclaimer will be required confirming acceptance of the non-refundable deposit terms.

Signatures may be completed electronically or in person.

Payment of a deposit confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions and the Deposit Disclaimer.

5. Parts

Parts may be supplied by us or, where agreed, supplied by the customer. We are not responsible for the quality, warranty, or suitability of customer-supplied parts.

Warranty on parts supplied by us is subject to the manufacturer’s terms.

6. Payment Terms

Payment is due on completion of work, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Accepted payment methods:

  • Cash
  • Credit/debit card

All prices are in GBP (£). No VAT is charged unless stated.

7. Late Payment

Late payments may be charged at 3% interest per month. Recovery costs may be pursued if payment remains outstanding. Continued non-payment may result in termination of services after 60 days.

8. Cancellations

Customers should provide as much notice as possible if cancelling or rescheduling. Deposits remain non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing and signed. Late cancellations or no-shows may still incur the call-out fee.

9. Customer Responsibilities

The customer must ensure:

  • Safe and reasonable access to the vehicle
  • Adequate space to carry out work
  • Accurate and honest information about the vehicle and fault
  • The vehicle is road-legal where applicable

We are not responsible for delays or issues caused by incorrect or withheld information.

10. Liability

We are not responsible for pre-existing faults, wear and tear, or unrelated failures. We are not liable for damage caused by seized, corroded, or previously damaged components.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

11. Warranty on Work

Labour warranty applies only to the specific work carried out. Warranty does not cover wear-and-tear items, related/subsequent faults, or customer-supplied parts.

Any issues must be reported as soon as reasonably possible.

12. Disputes

Any disputes must be raised within 15 days of the invoice date. We will aim to resolve disputes fairly and professionally.

13. Right to Refuse Work

We reserve the right to refuse or stop work if conditions are unsafe, abuse or threatening behaviour occurs, payment concerns arise, or the job is not suitable for mobile repair.

14. Privacy

Customer information is used only for communication, invoicing, and service provision. We do not sell or share personal data unless legally required.

15. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
